BIM Coordinator
Top AJ100 practice with an international reach is on the lookout for a BIM Coordinator to join its collaborative London team. This studio is synonymous with designing some of the world’s most well known mixed-use and retail projects, and offers flexible working in a collaborative environment. If successful you will be joining an experienced emerging technology team, working on improving project and information workflows through the creation of new digital tools.
Job Description
- Managing Revit and BIM models, processes and objectives with disciplines and consultants
- Preparing and updating project LOD matrices and BIM management plans
- Supporting project BIM production and documentation
- Organizing and distributing deliverables
- Supporting document control, especially for BIM and archiving models
- Contributing to tools for specifications, material tracking, and sustainability metrics
- Contributing to standards, guidelines, practices, tools and software for BIM workflows
- Monitoring and tracking compliance with BIM standards
- Identifying opportunities to improve BIM deliverables
- Assisting documentation and dissemination of knowledge
- Contributing to testing of new BIM-related tools
- Seeking innovative solutions, researching and documenting them
- Handling workload to meet deadlines and commitments
- Contributing to model and data-driven design methodologies
Key Skills
- Experience working within digital design team for an architectural or interiors team previously
- Revit and Rhino fluency are essential skills, Grasshopper is desired
- Knowledge of BIM 360 environment is desirable
- Mature collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Mentoring colleagues effectively
- High levels of customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a related field.
- Revit and Rhino fluency
- 5+ years of experience with Revit, Rhino, BIM/3D modelling, visualisation
